The Blair/Clearfield Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired ( BCAB) is a nonprofit
organization and is registered with the Bureau of Charitable Organizations as well as the
Department of State Corporation Bureau.
The Blair/Clearfield Association for the Blind has been in existence since 1926. We were
incorporated in 1953 and in 2004 we took on Clearfield County and changed our name in 2010
to the Blair/Clearfield Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
We are a member agency of the Pennsylvania Association for the Blind (PAB) as well as the
Pennsylvania Industries for the Blind and Handicapped (PIBH). We are also a member of the
United Way of Blair County and accredited by the NAC – National Accreditation Council.
